Solutions
Føns Tranformer's invention of e-UltraHeater makes it possible to create high temperature, high power using high Voltage. Either as stand alone or together with our e-VerticalKiln. Our product portfolio thereby contribute significently to solving hard to abate industries by sustainable electrification.
About the company
Føns transformers ApS is founded in 2025 by Mogens Juhl Føns and Flemming Buus Bendixen. The two inventors have combined more than 60 years experience with engineering, consultancy, simulations, constructions, patenting, development, production and sales.
Mogens Juhl Føns is a mechanical engineer, graduating from DTU in 1989. He has spent most of his engineering career working within the global cement industry, supplying the FonsDelta clinker cooler to customers worldwide. To date, more than 300 units are serving the cement industry.
Flemming Buus Bendixen is a power engineering graduate from Aalborg University (1997). He holds a PhD in electrical motor design and control and is also a specialist in magnetic systems. Throughout his career, he has been employed by or affiliated with several of Denmark’s largest companies.

Partners / Collaborators
We collaborate closely with Faxe kalk & Aalborg University, and we have now applied for founding for a project making a 500kW electrical demonstration plant, for calcination.
